The timepiece features G-Shock's official two year guarantee. Its water resistance mark is 200M.

The case is made of steel black ion plating and the dial colour is blue. The case width is 48 millimetres and the depth is 16 millimetres. The watch comes with a tang buckle clasp.

The watch is shock resistant. Its construction protects the mechanism against impact and vibration. The piece is able to continue working properly at temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius.

Two chronographs are able to work independently of each other. They measure up to 1000 hours each in 1/100-second increments. A countdown timer with automatic repeat can measure up to 24 hours. This watch is also equipped with a yacht timer. The countdown start time can be set within a period of one to 10 minutes. An audible signal is heard after each minute of elapsed time.

Additional functionalities include five daily alarms, a snooze feature, moon data display, tidal graph display, world time function, a fully automatic calendar and 12/24 hour time display.

A display flasher goes on as soon as a countdown signal has been reached or an alarm has gone off. The watch comes with an automatic illuminator, which lights the dial whenever the watch is tilted towards the face of the wearer.

Scratch-resistant mineral glass crystal adds to the resilience of the timepiece. The band is made of resin, which is durable and flexible at the same time.
