The Omega Speedmaster Professional is by far one of our most favorite chronographs. The Speedmaster has an incredible history starting with automotive racing moving into flight and eventually to NASA and the U.S. Space Program. There are many subtle differences within the vintage Omega Speedmaster range of references that make them all slightly unique and different.
One of only 3557 produced, this Speedmaster is a 60th Anniversary tribute to one of three classic Omega timepieces released in 1957, design inspired by the original “Broad Arrow”, which was not only the first Speedmaster to be manufactured, but it was also the first chronograph wristwatch in the world with its tachymeter scale on the bezel as opposed to printed on the dial. This 2017 heritage model perfectly matches each feature of the original, with some modern touches. Such as, a glide-lock adjustment feature within the bracelet clasp, the "Dot Over 90 "tachymeter base 100 scale, and luminova markers with faux patina which really sets an era and tone to this throwback masterpiece.
