A very fun wristwatch, this vintage Ronald McDonald character watch was made during the 1970s by Le Jour Time, a Swiss watch company. Ronald McDonald is loved the world over, and you, too, can show your fondness for the iconic McDonald's ambassador who, sadly, disappeared from the scene around 2016, following disturbing encounters with people dressed as clowns. Perhaps, by sporting this nostalgic character watch, one can show the world that clowns don't have to be scary.

The dial is in excellent condition with no flaws or patina, featuring the fun-loving clown himself, Ronald McDonald, smiling and waving from a casual seated position. The dial is signed only 17 Jewels and Swiss. The blued steel hands are pitched like Dauphine hands, and are sword-shaped at the ends. It features a sweep second with a red-tipped arrow. 12-hour dial with Breguet numerals.

The Swiss manual movement is an AS/ST 1950/51 and has 17 jewels, housed in a 33.5 mm stainless steel case. The case back reads All Stainless Steel, Water Resistant and 1318 on the outside. The inside reads Pilex Co., Case made in Hong Kong.

It comes with a black, 18 mm, two-piece leather band with a silver buckle.

This Le Jour Ronald McDonald vintage wristwatch will be a fun piece to add to a collection or to make a statement by wearing a character watch. It looks great and keeps excellent time!

We prefer to shoot photographs outside when weather is permitting. However, when we shoot indoors, please be aware that we shoot our photographs inside of lightboxes that are lit with 360 LED bulbs. This indeed magnifies any flaws. Usually, they are much less obvious to the naked eye. Having said that, we never photoshop any of our photography, remove blemishes, etc. We adjust lighting when necessary, but what you see is what you are getting, and we take pride in that.
